Prof. Jerry Chun-Wei Lin,
Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway

Jerry Chun-Wei Lin received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 2010. He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He has published more than 500+ research articles in refereed journals (with 60+ ACM/IEEE transactions journals) and international conferences (IEEE ICDE, IEEE ICDM, PKDD, PAKDD), 16 edited books, as well as 33 patents (held and filed, 3 US patents). His research interests include data mining and analytics, natural language processing (NLP), soft computing, IoTs, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and privacy preserving and security technologies. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Data Science and Pattern Recognition, the Associate Editor for IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TDSC, INS, JIT, AIHC, IJIMAI, HCIS, IDA, PlosOne, IEEE Access, and the Guest Editor for several IEEE/ACM journals such as IEEE TFS, IEEE TII, IEEE TIST, IEEE JBHI, ACM TMIS, ACM TOIT, ACM TALLIP, and ACM JDIQ. He has recognized as the most cited Chinese Researcher respectively in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 by Scopus/Elsevier. He is the Fellow of IET (FIET), ACM Distinguished Member (Scientist), and IEEE Senior Member.

 


Prof.Yuan Jiang,
Sun Yat-Sen University, China

Yuan Jiang, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Electronic and Communication Engineering, outstanding young and middle-aged talents of Sun Yat-sen University's "Hundred Talents Program", academic leader of information and communication engineering, doctor of engineering. Research fields: cognitive communication network, complex communication signal processing, communication and navigation fusion, etc.
He has long been engaged in the research of cognitive communication network, complex communication signal processing, satellite communication and satellite navigation. The total funding is several hundred million yuan), including 6 pre-research projects, 1 national 863 project, 1 national 973 project, 1 Natural Science Foundation project, 3 provincial and ministerial projects during the "Tenth Five-Year" to "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period level key special projects, etc.; lead the team to break through the traditional wireless private network communication system design ideas, and innovatively design a new wireless communication network using new technologies such as cognitive radio, adaptive anti-interference, and intelligent wireless networks; based on the network architecture of wireless communication systems and in-depth understanding of communication waveforms, innovatively carried out research on electromagnetic spectrum reconnaissance and identification technology, and achieved a series of research results; researched satellite navigation high-dynamic, high-precision, anti-jamming technology and successfully applied it to equipment development; researched comprehensive PNT system, communication and remote integration and other technologies, and undertake research on several systems and pre-research projects in the major national special projects of Beidou-2 and Beidou-3. Wrote national defense science and technology reports and published more than 40 academic papers in academic journals at home and abroad.

Prof.Zhiyong Luo,
Sun Yat-Sen University, China

Dr. Luo Zhiyong, professor of Sun Yat-Sen University, doctoral supervisor, young and middle-aged outstanding talents of "Hundred Talents Program", and academic leader of information and communication engineering. Part-time researcher and doctoral supervisor of National Pengcheng Laboratory. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, majoring in communication and information systems, with a doctorate in engineering. He is currently the general expert of the R&D plan in key areas of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the general expert of the R&D plan in key areas of Guangdong Province, and a member of the Satellite Professional Committee of the Chinese Astronautical Society. He used to be the director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Communication and Navigation, the director and vice president of the Guangdong Innovation Research Institute, the general expert of the National Major Science and Technology Project "Integrated Information System of Heaven and Earth", and the general expert of listed companies. He has been engaged in professional research on broadband communication, satellite communication, complex communication signal processing for more than 20 years, and has rich theoretical and engineering practice experience. He has presided over major projects such as the National 99X/81X/93X, as well as the National 863 Program-Digital Communication Network Chip Research and Development, the National Science and Technology Research Program-Software Radio Technology System Research, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Internet of Things Special Project, and the Ministry of Education Industry-University-Research Broadband Wireless Network projects, and special funds for the development of major innovations and strategic emerging industries in Guangdong Province. The relevant research results of software radio, satellite communication, digital trunking, Beidou navigation and positioning have been successfully applied in the information equipment models during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan". He has won the first prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021, the 2020 China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Innovation Application Gold Award, the 2021 China Light Industry Technology Progress Award, and the 2010 Asian Games Information and Communication Work Contribution Award. Co-published a monograph, published dozens of papers in IEEE journals, conferences and other SCI and EI journals, and applied for and authorized more than ten invention patents.
