Prof. Hongxiang Wang
Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Talk: Integrated Chaos-Based Encryption and Authentication Optical Transmission

Hongxiang Wang, Ph.D., Visiting Scholar at the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, is Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at BUPT. His research focuses on chaotic optical communication and all-optical signal processing. He has led multiple national projects including 973, 863, National Key R&D Programs, and NSFC. He has published 140+ papers, holds over 20 patents, and received awards including the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award and China Communications Society Technology Award.

Assoc. Prof. Longsheng Wang
Taiyuan University of Technology, China

Talk: Secure Communication with Physical-Layer Hardware Chaos Encryption

Longsheng Wang is an Associate Professor specializing in network information security and chaotic laser generation. He has led multiple projects including NSFC, Central Guidance Local Science & Technology Fund, Shanxi Key R&D Program, and the State Key Laboratory of Applied Optics. In the past five years, he has published 40+ SCI papers in journals like Photonics Research and Optics Letters, and holds 11 authorized patents (including one US patent). He was selected for the Shanxi “San Jin Talent” Young Outstanding Talent Program.

Mingfeng Xu, Young Researcher
Institute of Optoelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

Talk: Chaos-Secure Free-Space Optical Communication

Mingfeng Xu is a Young Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Light Field Control, Institute of Optoelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on vector light field control and free-space optical communication. He has led over 10 projects including the NSFC General/Youth Programs and JKW National Defense Innovation Projects. Over the past five years, he has published 50+ papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Physical Review Letters, and given invited talks at international conferences including PIERS, AOMATT, and Photonics Asia.

Lecturer Bing Han
Northeastern University, China

Bing Han, Ph.D., Master's supervisor, obtained his B.Sc. in IoT Engineering and Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2017 and 2022, respectively. He joined Northeastern University in 2022. His research focuses on novel random fiber lasers, long-distance fiber sensing systems and applications. He has published 30+ papers in Laser & Photonics Reviews, Research, Optics Letters, and holds 11 authorized China and US patents. He was selected as Hebei Province Yanzhao Talent Scholar.
